AWSCSM  designs, manufactures and installs permanent compact Rack and Pinion Lifts with capacities up to 3,000kg and installed heights to 250 meters or above. Machines are designed to client requirements: in particular where small spaces are only available and conditions are harsh where standard-building lifts would not survive. No lift motor room is required.
Safety  is of prime importance. All doors are electrically inter locked to eliminate human error. Two seperate fail safe braking system are provided.
We manufacture Exx rated machines to NEC and/or ATEX. Our designs comply with ABS.
All moving part maintenance is at ground level. The features of modern lifts are incorporated into CSM  elevators namely: floor selection, landing call, car direction indication, slowing to and acceleration from floors, intercom or telephone facilities in the car. The use of Aluminium with epoxy coated galvanized steels for structural parts ensure a long lasting machine for harsh environments. In more extreme conditions high grade stainless steels are used.
